It is always said that media is a pillar of democracy after administration and judiciary. In the course of Journalism it is taught that a journalist should keep himself far from gift, lift and rift. But in today's corporate media market all these kind of proverbs are going in the heal. Journalism is taking the shape of a big business. When we talk about journalism ethics we are breaking the ethics in search of breaking news, result is in the form of yellow journalism, paid for news and lobbing journalism. Yellow jornalism is much better than the other two if it is done to raise any good issue .

In the resent 2G scam investigation CBI has been recorded the phone tapes of corporate lobbiest Neera Radia. We have seen that some journalists are involving in lobbing for Mr. Raja for being telecom minister. All those journalist are from many years in this field and became celebrities as well. They know their ethics and journalism oath that we wil be far from gif, lift and rift.

According to Rajdeep Sardesai (head of editor's Gild)  publishing of tape script without any conclusion is against their personality but according to other journalists and editors this is quite shameful how the journalists are delivering the message of corporate to politicians.

Media should keep itself out of the corporate image and know its responsibility and should follow the code of conduct. Journalists should take the oath of pure journalism adn far from gift, lift, and rift so that they can not be biased.
